Matt Mueller is Balentine's Reporting Associate. In this role, Matt enhances the firm's reporting and process efficiency to support its expanding client base. His responsibilities include managing data in the Addepar portfolio reporting system, ensuring data accuracy, processing client reporting updates, and supporting new processes. Matt has extensive experience in operations at investment firms, most recently serving as a Investment Systems and Operations Analyst at 1919 Investment Counsel. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College, where he earned a B.A. in Economics.

What is your favorite sport or activity? Why?

My favorite sports are football and ice hockey (Go Ravens & Capitals), but my favorite physical activity is distance running. With running, you get out what you put into it; there are no shortcuts. The only way to improve is to put in the time and effort. I love the feeling of seeing my hard work translate into tangible progress.

Why did you choose to come to work at Balentine?

The people and the values. I knew I wanted a more analytical role, but after going through the recruiting process, I learned about Balentine's core values. Everyone I met with I could tell lived by those values and genuinely cared about their role, the firm, and each other.

What do you like to do in your down time away from work?

I love sports and being active. I snowboard, run, play tennis, and pickleball.
