What inspires you to come to work each day?   

Having a tangible impact through the work I do energizes me to do work I love. In private wealth management, I know I will feel this impact through advising our clients on how to best prepare for the goals and obstacles they face in their daily lives. Doing work that helps them to reach their life milestones feels extremely rewarding.

What is your favorite sport or activity? Why?   

Women’s lacrosse. I am absolutely passionate about the sport. I played growing up and I coach a youth team in Raleigh now. I think the sport is great for teaching young people how to play on a team while still maintaining important independent decision-making skills. Women’s lacrosse is such a different sport compared to men’s lacrosse which I also think is unique within the sports world. While it’s a great sport to teach young people important skills, it’s also just super fun 😊

What is the most exotic place you have ever been? 

In my role at U.S. Treasury, I was lucky enough to get to travel to quite a few ‘exotic’ locations for work. This list includes Sierra Leone, Madagascar, Ukraine… however the most exotic to me was Tajikistan. The country was unlike anything I expected. A true melting pot of people and languages, I absolutely loved visiting Tajikistan. The food was phenomenal, the history rich, and the people kind. While it’s definitely not on my vacation destination list, it was an incredible journey to take.

What do you like to do in your down time away from work?   

In my down time, I like to do anything outside. I’m a big runner, avid skier and generally just enjoy exploring new things. My fiancé, Chap, and our dog, Bodie, love to go for weekend hikes or drive to the beach.
