Jennifer Dangar is the Chief Operating Officer at Balentine, where she oversees a diverse portfolio of functions across the firm, including Client Experience, Compliance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Technology. Both the Raleigh and Atlanta Wealth teams also report to Dangar. She has more than twenty-five years of leadership experience across various industries including media, staffing, and now financial services.
Jennifer has a diverse background, having managed P&Ls and been responsible for revenue generation in excess of $1 billion annually. Her previous roles include Chief of Corporate Operations, Jackson Healthcare and Chief Strategy Officer & President, The Weather Channel. Prior to these roles, Jennifer worked for Discovery Communications, Turner Broadcasting, and C-SPAN.
Jennifer is active in the community and serves as a Trustee at the Schenck School among other charitable endeavors.
Jennifer graduated with a BA in Ancient History from Tulane University.

What is the most exotic place you have ever been?
Jaipur, India
What do you like to do in your time away from work?
Spend time with my daughter. Travel, cook, read and entertain. My family would add that I love to run the Dyson stick vacuum at least twice a day.
Why did you come to work at Balentine?
The people. I truly enjoy working with super smart people. I discovered how interesting and kind everyone is here and that was lagniappe!
What was your biggest missed opportunity?
I had an opportunity to meet the Pope and wasn’t able to take advantage of it.
Who were your heroes growing up?
My Dad has always been my hero. He taught me an incredible work ethic and an incredible sense of integrity. He is a brilliant scientist and the most kind person I have ever known.
