Meredith Fenwick is Balentine’s Marketing Manager. In this role, she oversees the execution of Balentine’s content strategy and creative projects from concept development to completion. Meredith manages a team of internal and external stakeholders, keeping projects on track and aligned with Balentine’s brand and mission. A lifelong writer, she also provides expertise in written communication, generating pieces such as press releases, reports, and speeches that require a nuanced understanding of the firm and the wealth management industry. Meredith joined Balentine in 2021. She earned a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was honored as a Buckley Public Service Scholar for completing over 200 hours of community service.

Why did you choose to come and work at Balentine?

The Core Values: Mutual Respect, Integrity, Entrepreneurial Spirit and Excellence. Not only do these values reflect how I live my life, but I think that setting intentions is crucial to success, and I respect that Balentine has identified these values and is committed to upholding them.

How does your role fit in the big picture of serving clients?

As a professional communicator, I provide context to help current and potential clients understand the value of working with Balentine.

What was your biggest missed opportunity?

I have been a Francophile since watching the Madeline cartoon as a child. After seven years of French classes, I studied abroad in France for one semester during my senior year of college. I have a friend who went back after we graduated and taught English through a French-government sponsored program. There is a part of me that wishes I had done that!

What do you like to do in your down time away from work?

I love connecting with nature and creating. When I am not at work, you can find me hiking outside, working on a short story or personal essay, or cooking for my family and friends.
