Luke Roberson is an Associate Relationship Manager at Balentine. Luke joined Balentine from CAPTRUST, where he has served as a Senior Associate Financial Planner since 2024, and previously spent two years with Fisher Investments. He earned his B.A. from Liberty University and holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from North Carolina State University. To further support Balentine clients, Luke is currently pursuing his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.

I chose to work for Balentine because of their level of expertise in planning and investments as well as commitment to client service and long-term growth.

How and why did you get into this business?

I chose to enter the financial services industry to help educate clients on financial planning and investment topics in order to help them build strong financial plans and meet their long-term goals.

How does the work you do make a difference?

I believe educating clients and helping them build solid financial plans brings peace of mind and allows clients to live their life more freely and helps eliminate stress around markets.

If you weren't in this business, what would you be doing?

Sports broadcasting. I covered Duke basketball for WRAL in Raleigh via weekly columns and podcasts for a few years.
