Juwon Hill, MS is a Senior Portfolio Analyst at Balentine. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day portfolio management of clients – constructing portfolios, managing cash, and facilitating reporting and internal controls. Juwon brings several years of experience to this position, most recently as a Portfolio Analyst at Ensemble Capital Management in San Francisco. Juwon earned two degrees in his area of expertise: a B.A. in Economics from Morehouse College and an M.S. in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Colorado Denver Business School. What do you like to do in your down time away from work?

When I’m away from work I enjoy playing/watching basketball, playing drums, and spending time with my wife and kids. I also enjoy listening to music, especially when it’s live!

What is your favorite sport or activity? Why?

My favorite sport is basketball. I appreciate how creative you can be on the court and how important understanding individual matchups is.

If you weren’t in this business, what would you be doing?

If I weren’t in this business, I’d be a high school Economics teacher that drove trucks during the summer.

A waterproof king-sized mattress
