Why did you choose to come to work at Balentine?
It was a simple choice for me because of the people at Balentine. At their core, my colleagues truly care about the work they do, the clients they serve, and the impact they have in the community.
What was your best business decision?
Developing mentoring relationships early in my career. Having people to learn from and lean on is an incredible resource for people in the corporate world.
If you weren’t in this business, what would you be doing?
I dreamed of flying fighter jets when I was younger, so I would probably be a pilot of some kind. One day I would love to obtain my private pilot’s license.
What do you like to do in your down time away from work?
My fiancé and I love to travel, so we’re always looking for our next destination. We enjoy spending time with our two dogs, often visiting dog parks and dog-friendly restaurants. Having a veterinarian as a fiancé means we are always around animals. I also love sports, and, being a UGA alum, I live and breathe Georgia football.
What is the most exotic place you have ever been?
I spent four weeks traveling across Australia during my senior year of college, and it was an incredible experience. I stayed in Sydney, Brisbane, on the great barrier reef, and in the outback. The people, culture, and food were amazing, and I hope to make it back one day with my fiancé.
