A Balentine Legacy
Since the founding of Balentine & Company in 1987, our company has been an active and involved part of our community. We aim to provide resources to fortify the causes our employees and clients are passionate about to affect change. As a result, every member of our team is engaged in giving back to the community so that our time, talent, and resources can help improve the local communities in which they live.
Inter-Faith Food Shuttle
Balentine’s Raleigh team spent a morning weeding and laying tarps for produce at the Food Shuttle Farm, which provides locally grown produce to those in need.
JA of Georgia
We’ve hosted several firm-wide volunteer days at Junior Achievement’s Discovery Center, during which employees assisted middle school students taking on the challenge of running their own businesses.
Covenant House Georgia
President Brittain Prigge and Chairman Robert Balentine have slept on the streets of Atlanta to raise money and awareness for homeless youth as part of Covenant House Georgia’s annual Sleep Out: Executive Edition.
Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina
Following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Florence in Eastern North Carolina, our Raleigh employees spent an afternoon at the local branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina to support relief efforts.
Our team regularly volunteers with L.E.A.D., an organization which helps male student athletes learn important life skills.
Balentine has partnered with Community Sustainability Enterprise for their annual “Teacher Job Shadow Day,” during which an educator from Gwinnett County Public Schools has the opportunity to shadow our team and equip themselves with financial lessons that will help progress the communities where they live and work.
