How and why did you get into this business?
After years of practicing public accounting, I thought it would be interesting to branch out into a different industry, and I find finance exciting.
What do you personally think makes Balentine different from other wealth management organizations?
Its integrity and commitment to excellence, which directly relates to the quality of the people who work here. I also love the company culture; people are happy and proud to work for Balentine.
How does your role fit in the big picture of serving clients?
As the Controller, I work behind the scenes. By helping Balentine run smoothly, everyone else can concentrate on the clients.
What do you like to do in your down time away from work?
Now that I am a mom, I love spending time with my son while he is still young enough to want to spend time with me. Before that, I was a marathon runner, triathlete, and glass artist.
